Blessed is the King Who comes in the name of the Lord”

When Jesus Entered the Jerusalem the people sang with one voice Hosanna to the Son of David; blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, the King of Israel. Hosanna in the Highest.

It is the day to mark this event and enter in to the Holy week to mark the event of Jesus’ suffering , death and resurrection.

The palms were blessed near the Cross in front of the church and moved in procession to the Church. then the liturgical celebration was continued. Rev Fr William Menezes the PRO of Mangaluru Diocese was the Main celebrant. Rev Fr Andrew D’Souza the parish priest, Rev Dn Ashwin Cardoza con-celebrated the mass and preached the homily.
