Mr Harinath the new Mayor from Mangalore was honored by the parish here in bondel church premises after the Easter Vigil Mass. Mr Harinath who was born and brought up in Bondel also a student of Bondel Church School  corporator of Kavoor, PAachhanady and Marakad ward now elected as mayor of Mangaluru City Corporation. Rev Fr Andrew D’Souza, Rev Fr Jason Monis, Rev Fr Deepak D’sa, Mr Henbert Pinto and Mr Wilfred Alvares were present on the dais. After receiving the honor Mr Mayor began his speech in Konkani and later switched on to Kannada. He assured that the pending and urgent work will be done and assured his full support and cooperation. Mr Stany Alvares compered the programme.
