Evening festal mass began at 5:30 p.m. Rev Fr Xavier Pinto, Director St Antony Shrine Kerekatte, Kundapur celebrated the Holy Eucharist. In his sermon reflecting on the theme spoke about the seven corporal works of mercy and gave an call to practice. Quoting the words of Gospel, “I want mercy not sacrifice” Fr Xavier said that if a man says I love God and do not love his brother is a lair. Our good works and faith should  go hand in hand he said. Rev Fr James D’Souza, Rev Fr Andrew D’Souza parish Priest and other priests con-celebrated.

After the mass St Lawrence flag was lowered which was hoisted on the beginning day of Novena and closed the celebration of Novena and Feast for the year 2016.
