The celebration of the birth of Mother Mary began in the morning near the church hall by blessing the new corn. Later all came to the church in procession.
The Holy Mass was celebrated by Rev Fr Elias D’Souza OCD. In his homily he highlighted the importance of the feast and gave an call to follow the example of mother Mary and to lead a harmonious life in the society.

After the mass the blessed corn and the sugar cane was distributed to the devotees.
