ICYM-Bondel organized PAWSA KHEL-2017 inter-ward water games competitions on 23/07/2017 at church grounds. The Pavsa Khel Was inaugurated by Rev Fr Jason Monis Asst Parish Priest of Vamanjoor inaugurated the event by bursting the water balloons and in his message congratulated for the active participation and also to understand the importance of water. Rev.Fr.Andrew Dsouza Parish Priest in his message congratulated the ICYM for organizing such a big event and bringing the parishioners together and gave a call to take part actively.

 Rev Fr Vinod Lobo, Rev Fr.Leo Veigas, Vice- president and secretary of parish council Mr.Henbert &Mr Francis Veigas, ICYM central council president Mr.Elroy Saldanha, unit ICYM animator Mr. Wilfred Alvares, unit ICYM president and Secretary Ms.Shanthi Priya Lasrado & Ms.Dafni Dsilva were the dignitaries on the dais.

 

Various water games were conducted by Mr.Alwyn Agrar and the team to our participants… Trophies to the winners were given during the valedictory ceremony. The winners of the events are as follows.

 

1^st prize- Lourdes ward

2^nd prize- Holy Rosary ward

3 rd prize – St Agnes ward.

And the rest of the teams were given consolations prizes.

During the valedictory programme Vanamahotsav programme was celebrated. Out of 30 wards 22 wards actively participated and also had very good number of spectators. Team from city deanery and central council-icym were present during the competitions.
