The Evening Novena began with the Eucharistic Celebration with the theme “Word of God-  an inspiration to live a life of love and service”. The Eucharist was celebrated by Rev. Fr Leo Veigas along with Rev. Fr. Vinod Lobo.

Breaking the word of God to the devotees, Fr Leo Elaborated the need to serve parents during their old age.  “Our parents have catered to our needs when we were small and it is our duty to serve them in their needs during their old age” he said. Highlighting the service of Mother Mary towards Elizabeth, “It is the best example where Mother Mary served Elizabeth for 3 moths. we too can take in our life as an inspiration to learn to serve people irrespective of our problems” he continued.

The choir was led by Bejai Church Choir Group. Bread was distributed to all the devotees who were present for the novena
