Catholic Sabha honoured 47 meritorious students of 2017-18 batch of SSLC, 2nd PUC and final year degree students on September 2, 2018 at the Bondel Church Hall. It also celebrated Professional Day, including teachers , doctors, nurses, government employees and businessmen of Bondel area.

The twin events were presided over by Rev Fr Andew Leo D’Souza, Parish Priest. Mr. Walter D’Souza founder of Catholic Sabha and entrepreneur was the chief guest. They stressed the need of education and participation of the younger generation in pan-India projects.

Mr Lancy D’Cunha was felicitated at this programme on being re-elected as President of All India Catholic Union for a second term. Rev Fr Leo Veigas – spiritual director, Mr. Frasncis Viegas – secretary to parish council and Mr Victor Corea – city vardo president were present. Unit president, Mr Wilfred Alvares welcomed and Ms. Lynette Pinto, Secretary gave vote of thanks. Preeti D’Souza compered the programme.
