The Annual Feast of St Lawrence Church, Bondel was celebrated with grandeur and devotion on August 10, Saturday, Most Rev. Dr Peter Paul Saldanha, Bishop of Mangaluru led the Holy Mass in the morning.

Most Rev. Dr Peter Paul Saldanha, Bishop of Mangalore began the celebration saying “we have gathered here not only to celebrate the feast but also to pray for suffering people due to Floods”. During the homily he appreciated the generousity of mangalorean catholics. He also urged to apply for government grants like other communities do. Many priests concelebrated the mass. Those who contributed towards the Feast were honoured on the occasion. During the feast people of all religion had meals together and expressed religious unity.
