Celebration of catechism day was held on 1st March 2020 at St Lawrence English medium school auditorium. Rev Fr Ivan D’Souza, Professor of St Joseph Seminary, Jeppu celebrated the mass. Rev Fr Assisi D’almeida, Director of Sandesha institute, Rev. Fr Cyril Lobo, Rev. Fr Clifford Pinto con-celebrated the mass. Catechism students under the guidance of catechism teachers performed the cultural programme.
Those who have secured the first, second and third place were honoured with the prizes and certificates. Those who were regular for the catechism were recognized and were honored. Fr. Andrew Leo D’souza, Parish priest of Bondel church delivered presidential speech and encouraged catechism children and their parents to participate in spiritual activities. Mr Reginald D’souza, vice-president of parish pastoral council and Mr Steevan Noronha secretory of Parish Pastoral Council were present for the day. Whole programme was organised by the catechism teachers.
