Bondel: Christmas is a season of love and Peace. The celebration brings togetherness among all through sharing.Christmas celebrations at St Lawrence Church ,Bondel commenced at 7:00 p.m with the melodious carols sung by the church choir. This was followed by Holy Mass at 7.30 p.m, the main celebrant was Rev.Fr.Rupesh Tauro, the Asst Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Peter Gonsalves Principal St Lawrence Eng Medium School, Rev. Fr. ꜰʀᴀɴᴄɪꜱ Gomes , Rev Fr Greogory, Rev Fr ᴀʀᴜʟ ,Rev Fr Bipin ʙᴇᴛᴀʀᴀᴍ concelebrated the mass.The entire congregation along with the Choir sang Christmas Carols which paved the way for the solemn celebration.In his homily, Rev. Fr.Peter Gonsalves cited the essence of Christmas , Christmas invites to spread love and to give up hate and ɪɴᴅɪꜰꜰᴇʀᴇɴᴄᴇꜱ.” Christmas is a time to celebrate that God loves you! … The entire reason for Christmas is the love of God. God loves you so much that he came to earth as a human so you could get to know him and learn to trust him and love him back. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. – John 3:16. He called upon everyone to help each other and live in harmony. The Church Crib was then blessed and inaugurated. The joy of the celebration was doubled by the enchanting melodies of the choir group. A large number of parishioners took part in the Christmas mass.The Christmas cake was distributed to all to enhance Christmas ioy.
