St. Lawrence Shrine, as it celebrated the first baptism since the inauguration of the renovated church and its declaration as a shrine.

Tuesday November 19,2024 marked a momentous occasion in the history of St. Lawrence Church, now a shrine, as it celebrated its first baptism following the centenary inauguration and its declaration as a shrine.

The sacrament of baptism was joyfully administered to Baby Jiyana Rufina D’ Souza, the beloved daughter of Nisha and Jason D’Souza. This sacred ceremony was officiated by our esteemed Parish Priest, Rev. Fr Andrew Leo D’Souza , who led the congregation in welcoming the infant into the Christian community.

The parish community extends warm congratulations to the proud parents, Nisha and Jason, and prays for abundant blessings on Baby Jiyana as she embarks on her journey of faith.

May this special day inspire all families to deepen their spiritual connection with the shrine, as we continue to grow together in faith and devotion under the patronage of St. Lawrence.
