Honourable Speaker of Karnataka Legislative Assembly, Mr U.T. Khader Visits St Lawrence Church & Shrine, Bondel
Honourable Speaker of Karnataka Legislative Assembly, Mr U.T. Khader, visited St Lawrence Church & Shrine, Bondel today, Tuesday, August 26.
On this occasion, an appeal was submitted to Mr Khader requesting the construction of a footpath and proper drainage system on the road adjoining the church compound, extending from St Lawrence Church to Bondel Circle.
The Parish Priest of Bondel, Rev. Fr Andrew Leo D’Souza, warmly welcomed the Speaker to the shrine. The official appeal was handed over by Mr Rudy Pinto, former Vice President of the Parish Pastoral Council. Mr Melwin, Zilla Panchayat member, was also present at the event.
Mr U.T. Khader patiently listened to the concerns of the parish community and assured that he would take the necessary steps to address the matter at the earliest.
The visit concluded with expressions of gratitude from the parishioners for his support and commitment to improving civic infrastructure in the Bondel area.
