The Adult Choir Get-Together took place on 27th August 2025 at 6:30 p.m. in the Church Mini Hall, commencing with a prayer led by Rev. Fr Andrew Leo D’Souza, the Parish Priest. Mr Ronald Nazareth, President, warmly welcomed the distinguished guests and choir members. The chief guest of the evening, Rev. Fr Flavian Rajkiran Lobo, Professor at St. Joseph Seminary, Jeppu, was greeted with a bouquet by Secretary Mrs Jasmine. The other members on the dais were welcomed by the choir members with a bouquet.

In his inspirational address, Fr Flavian shared valuable insights with the choir members, encouraging them to sing with devotion and from the heart, ensuring that their music always remains sacred and prayerful. He reminded the members that choir singing is a ministry of service, meant to uplift the congregation and lead them closer to God through music. He also emphasized the importance of discipline during practices, unity of voices, proper pronunciation of hymns, and maintaining harmony between melody and lyrics. Additionally, he encouraged members to prepare spiritually before singing, to listen attentively to one another, and to approach their role with humility and dedication. These practical tips and heartfelt guidance were greatly appreciated by all, as they inspired the choir to grow both musically and spiritually.

A special felicitation was held for the keyboard members who had attended the meeting in recognition of their dedicated service.

The program also included fun-filled games, which added joy, laughter, and liveliness to the gathering.

The evening concluded with a fellowship meal. Rev. Fr Lawrence Cutinha, Assistant Priest, proposed the vote of thanks, expressing heartfelt gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the event. The get-together concluded with a prayer, strengthening the members in faith, joy, and unity.
