The Evening Novena began with the Eucharistic celebration with the theme “Word of God – Light for our Lives”. The Eucharistic celebration was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Clifford Fernandes along with Rev. Fr. Andrew D’souza, Rev. Fr. Vinod Lobo, Rev. Fr. Ajay D’silva and Rev Fr. Ravi. Special prayers were offered to our country India.

In the homily, Rev. Fr. Clifford said, “The Word of God is light which will break all the shackles of pain and suffering. We have to make a decision today, are we ready to go home with this light?”

“Readind the Word of God every day will give us the light called Christ and we will be able to give it to all those whom we meet. The Word of God has the power to change our hearts, we should allow  the light to do so.” he highlighted.

The choir was led by Blue Angels Choir group. Bread was served to all the devotees who had come for the novena.
