The Novena began with the Eucharistic celebration with the theme “Word of God –Talents an Inspiration to use and live for Christ”. The Eucharistic celebration was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Sunil Pinto along with Rev. Fr. Andrew D’Souza, and Rev Fr. Ravi, Rev. Fr Ajay D’Silva and Rev Fr. Charles. Special prayers were offered children and Youth.

In the homily, Rev. Fr. Sunil said, “God is watching us, when we use the gifts or our talents the ideas and time that are given to us, for others he blesses us and it doubles all the gifts.  Gifts are given to us not to keep it to ourselves but to use is for the welfare of others, and when we do so we will glorify God.”

“We have to analyze, Are we ready to glorify God?  Use the gifts that are given to us for a purpose? Our gifts should make the Mother Church shine in the society. Our talents should aid in building the Mother Church. Let us  wake up today, let us not let the talents be hidden or kept for self glorification but for the glory of God.” he said.

The choir was led by Revelations Choir group. Lunch was served to all the devotees who had come for the Novena.
