Konkani Natak Sabha®(KNS) organized the 55th inter parish singing competition for children of different parishes of the diocese at Don Bosco Hall on 29th July 2018. The competition was inaugurated by Fr Joel Lobo, editor of Sevak monthly by lighting the lamp along with the office bearers. On behalf of president Fr Joel Lobo, editor of Sevak monthly, vice president Sunil Menezes, secretary Judi D’souza, assistant secretary Jossy Theodore and convenor Prem Lobo among others were present.
The competition was held in two parts – out of city parishes and city parishes in the categories of 5-10 years and 10-15 years. Among the city parishes, 88 competitors from twelve parishes took part in solo, duet and mixed group. Cordel parish bagged the first place, Bondel parish the second and Bejai parish the third place.
