November 22, @ 7 p.m. In a spirit of thanksgiving and unity, all the volunteers who dedicated themselves to the success of the centenary celebrations gathered at the church compound this evening.

This special “Day of Gratitude” honored those who wholeheartedly contributed their time, skills, and energy to ensure the event’s grandeur and significance. The ceremony featured the recognition of key individuals who played pivotal roles in the celebration. Honorees included: PPC Vice President Mr John D’Silva , Secretary Mr Santhosh Misquith,, Mr. Manoj Lewis, Head of the 21 Commission, Dr. Preethi D’Souza, Centenary Coordinator ,Mr. Jason Fernandes- Publicity Head, Parking In-Charge Mr Jason , Media Head’s Meena Barboza & Alrick D’Silva, Mrs. Mary Miranda, for her exemplary contributions to write-ups, documentation, and shrine preparation ,Mr. Prakash Minto, Shrine Committee Convener, Mrs. Avitha Mascarenes Volunteers Head, Mrs. Veena Dias, for her invaluable work in invitations and office tasks. On behalf of all the wards, the tireless workers and volunteers were honored with shawls and mementos, a heartfelt acknowledgment of their dedication and service.

In his address Rev. Fr Andrew Parish Priest expressed his deepest gratitude to all the parishioners for their unwavering support. He highlighted the transformation of the shrine, which has now become a beacon attracting visitors daily, signifying the spiritual and communal success of the centenary..

Mr. John D’Silva, Vice President of the Parish Pastoral Council (PPC), extended heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to the grand success of the Centenary Celebration. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. D’Silva expressed his deep appreciation for the dedicated efforts of parishioners, volunteers, donors, and the organizing committee. He acknowledged the selfless support, unity, and hard work that made this milestone event a memorable and meaningful celebration of faith and community spirit.

The grace before supper was led by Rev. Fr. Peter Gonsalves- Principal St Lawrence Eng. Med. School, invoking blessings upon the meal and all those gathered.

The program was skillfully compered by Rev. Fr William D’Souza Asst Parish Priest who kept the evening lively and engaging. Adding to the joyous atmosphere, the Parish children delighted everyone with their vibrant performances, including a mock dance and a captivating group dance, showcasing their talent and enthusiasm.

The supper, lovingly arranged by the gathered community, was a time of shared joy and togetherness. As everyone enjoyed the delicious meal, the evening became a beautiful celebration of unity, gratitude, and the strong bonds within the parish community.
