April 7, 2025 – The four-day Lenten Retreat at St Lawrence Church and Shrine began today with a large turnout of the faithful seeking spiritual renewal.

At 4.00 p. m. Way of the Cross, followed by Praise and Worship. Rev.Fr Rovel OCD delivered a powerful talk on “Our Relationship with God,” urging the faithful to strive for holiness as God is holy.

Br Joel followed with a Scripture-based reflection, drawing from Luke 15:7, Luke 10:20, and Mark 8:36, reminding all to rejoice in repentance and value the eternal over the temporal.

The day continued with the Holy Eucharist, celebrated by Rev. Fr Rovel OCD and concelebrated by Rev.Fr Peter Gonsalves, and concluded with Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.
