On Thursday, April 11th at 4:00 p.m., a spirit of deep reverence filled the Parish as the Blessed Sacrament was solemnly exposed for Benediction, Praise, and Worship, led by Br Joel. The faithful gathered in devotion, engaging in consistent and heartfelt prayer during this sacred time.

Simultaneously, the Sacrament of Penance was made available until 6:00 p.m., offering a grace-filled opportunity for confession. Many came forward with sincere hearts, seeking reconciliation and preparing spiritually for the Resurrection of the Lord.

During the time of adoration, special prayers were offered for children, youth, Parish council members, religious sisters, and members of various parish associations who continue to serve the parish with dedication and love.

Following the adoration, the Way of the Cross was prayerfully observed, guiding the faithful into the solemn celebration of the Holy Eucharist. Rev. Fr Rovel D’Souza OCD was the main celebrant, with Rev. Fr Andrew Leo D’Souza and Rev.Fr.Peter Gonsalves as concelebrants.

Fr. Andrew Leo D’Souza the Parish Priest expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the retreat team, especially Brother Joel, Fr. Rovel with a Memento Choir Master Br. Rony, along with Joe, Shanti, Angela, and Rishika, for their tireless efforts and spiritual leadership. He also extended thanks to all those who voluntarily contributed to the success of the retreat.

As a touching conclusion to the evening, the priests sprinkled holy water over the faithful as a sign of renewal and blessing. This was followed by the anointing of the faithful with Holy Oil, invoking God’s special protection and grace. The retreat came to a close with the final hymn, marking the end of a deeply spiritual and memorable Lenten journey.
