On April 18th, 2025, Good Friday was prayerfully observed at St. Lawrence Church & Shrine, Bondel, with the Way of the Cross held at 11:00 a.m., led by the devoted members of various wards.

The solemn ceremony commenced with an opening prayer, setting a reverent and contemplative tone. The Church choir enriched the service with soulful hymns, guiding the faithful into a spirit of reflection and devotion throughout the Way of the Cross. Each station was accompanied by a thought-provoking meditation, drawing powerful connections between the suffering of Christ and the trials of everyday life.

Rev. Fr. Andrew Leo D’Souza, the Parish Priest, delivered an inspiring message that deepened the reflections and touched the hearts of the congregation. Rev. Fr. Peter Gonsalves and Rev. Fr. William D’Souza also participated prayerfully in the devotion, adding to the spiritual grace of the occasion.

The ceremony concluded with the veneration of the crucifixion relic, through which the faithful received special blessings, departing with renewed faith and a deeper connection to the Passion of Christ.
