Jeevandhan Ashram Visit by ICYM Members of Bondel Parish
On the afternoon of April 26, a dedicated team of YCS & ICYM members from Bondel Parish visited Jeevadhan Ashram as part of a community outreach and donation drive. The purpose of the visit was not only to extend material support but also to share love, joy, and companionship with the residents.
The team arrived at 3:00 PM and received a warm and heartfelt welcome from the sisters and children. The visit soon blossomed into a lively and joyful gathering, centered on meaningful interaction and engagement. Volunteers conducted action songs and organized fun-filled games, encouraging every child to actively participate. The atmosphere was vibrant and filled with laughter, creating beautiful moments of connection and happiness.
To appreciate the enthusiasm and sportsmanship of the children, the activities concluded with a prize distribution, ensuring that each child felt valued, encouraged, and celebrated.
This initiative was made possible through the generous support of our parish members. Their selfless contributions enabled us to provide essential items requested by the ashram, along with financial assistance. This collective effort transformed the visit into a truly impactful and meaningful act of service.
The program concluded at 6:00 PM, leaving behind hearts filled with gratitude and a deep sense of fulfillment. We sincerely thank Rev. Fr Lawrence Cutinha for his spiritual guidance and for giving us this opportunity to serve. Special appreciation goes to Jasmine for her coordination with the Ashram, Lerina for beautifully leading the activities, Winston for his constant support, and all the members who wholeheartedly contributed their time, effort, and resources.
The spirit of love, unity, and service witnessed during this visit truly reflects the strength and compassion of our parish community.
