The Vigil mass of Easter took place in the evening at 7:30 p.m beginning with the blessing of Fire and lighting the Paschal Candle. After that Rev Fr Andrew D’Souza the parish priest  proclaimed the Paschal Hymn. The mass continued with the reading from the Old Testament which explained the Creation and Salvation History. Reflecting on the word of God Rev Fr Jason Monis the main celebrant said what should be our crossing as we are celebrating the resurrection of the Lord summarizing the reflections of Holy week. After the homily there was the ceremony of blessing the holy water followed by the sprinkling of holy water. Later the liturgy was continued.
