The celebration of the birth of Mother Mary began in the morning near the church hall by blessing the new corn. Rev Fr Leo Veigas Resident Priest Blessed the New Corn. Later all came to the church in procession.The Holy Mass was celebrated by Rev Fr Andrew Leo D’souza. Rev Fr Clifford Pinto Principle of St Lawrence English Medium School preached the Homily. Rev Fr Leo Veigas, Rev Fr Ravi, Rev Fr Joy, Rev Fr Jacob con-celebrated the Mass. After the announcements Mrs Mary Miranda Head Mistress of St Lawrence Kannada Medium School was felicitated for getting best Teacher award in Dakshina Kannada District. After the mass the blessed corn and the sugar cane was distributed to the devotees.
