St Lawrence Church & Shrine, Bondel | 9 August 2026

As part of the Annual Feast celebrations, St Lawrence Church & Shrine, Bondel, celebrated its first-ever Malayalam Holy Mass at 12 noon on 9 August 2026.

Rev. Fr Manoj Mathew Palakkal professor at St Joseph Seminary, Jeppu was the main celebrant, with Rev. Fr. Akhil Betharam as concelebrant. A large number of Malayali faithful gathered in prayer and participated devoutly in the Eucharistic celebration.

The historic celebration marked a joyful moment of faith, unity and inclusiveness, bringing together the Malayali Catholic community to honour St Lawrence and seek his heavenly intercession.
